Regarding the WebObjectsLog directive in the WOAdaptor and Apache
2.2, there's a 'feature' where only the initial messages are logged
to the file and the subsequent messages for each R/R are not. The
problem happens when the log file is created by the parent apache
process (usually running as a privileged user) and the subsequent R/
R are handled by child processes (usually not privileged.) One fix
for this is to change the ownership or permissions on the log file
so that the child processes can append to the file!
I guess there is no way to fix this.
Due to a longstanding mismatch of case, the more serious error
messages which were supposed to be logged to the apache logs were
unintentionally squelched. A fix for that and a notice when the
child process is unable to append to the log file are on their way
to the Wonder repository. ;-)
