I made sure I did a fresh download of wonder... I got that from:
http://webobjects.mdimension.com/wonder/
and I downloaded the 54 frameworks (as I am on 5.4.3)
I relaunched eclipse and rebuilt my app... same behavior ... the datepicker dialog box appears under the AMD and in grey (I also tried it with inline bindings and wod bindings).
