WebSocket?

Hello;

Out of curiosity more than a pending need, has anybody considered how HTML5's WebSocket might be used with WebObjects?  I guess that a WebSocket would look like a really long request which occupies a thread as opposed to an async architecture like NIO / NSRunLoop?
