I am working on a project in its late stages and need to knock together a quick reporting interface. I have started to play with DRGrouping and WRReporting using Anjo's BugTracker code as a reference. Nearly all of my reports need to include the date as one of the dimensions. Ideally I would like to be able to group the events in my reports by day, week number or calendar month. The code I have at the moment uses a report model in a plist and the WRQuickReport component. I am sure I could do it programmatically, but I have not managed to work out how to do these date groupings using the dictionary based report models. I have discovered the 'isPeriodic' option, which allows me to specify a start point and a delta for a repeating period over the range of my data set, but I have no idea how to group things by calendar month, etc.
I would be really grateful if someone with some experience of these frameworks could give me some pointers. They seem to be very powerful, but are not easy to get to grips with without spending real time digging into them.
