I don't know on Windows, but on Linux I tried to run a 32 bits JVM on a CentOS x86_64 box to reduce RAM usage for our instances and we were getting JVM crashes at least one per day, so I would say that you should try it on a dev or staging server first.

Hi,

One of our customer is willing to update its servers to Win 2K8 R2 64 bits
Has anyone on the list ever deployed this platform ? If yes, should I stick to a x86 JVM (as apache binaries and adaptor are also x86) ?

Thanks
