Hi all,

just polling for ideas / techniques people use in detecting dead instances. Naturally when there's lots of instances running in deployment it can be hard to know if a particular instance has locked up for some reason (and this can sometimes have a flow on affect with the adaptor).

Thanks.

It occurred to me to check the documentation on the Project Wonder wiki (http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WONDER/Home) for Deployment issues. There is a general deployment issues page, but it had not been updated since 2007 and, since it discusses Xcode, it may need some updating. I pushed some of pages I found up into the main page under the existing header for "Deplyment Tools". But lots of stuff can still be done to make the doc current.

Just FYI.
