Hi David,
Thanks for the reply.
--- I am not using Split Install
--- Yes I placed the webserver resources of the Ajax framework in the location where I placed all the remaining Frameworks.
--- I checked the source code of the HTML page and it shows like this for the AjaxModelDialogOpener.
<a href="_javascript_:void(0)" id="e_0_13_11_1_6_21_1_2_0_6" class="addButtonClass" onclick="new Ajax.Request('/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyApp.woa/1/ajax/lDCfKNRP55QzrzOsKk2ht0/2.0.13.11.1.6.21.1.2.0.6', {asynchronous:false, evalScripts:false});openAMD_EditTicklerDialog('Add Tickler Event'); return false;" >ADD EVENT</a>
and I observed some errors are shown in the browser window. Following are those.

Are you doing a split install?
Do you have the webserver resources of the Ajax framework in the correct location?
Check the source of your html pages. Are the ajax js libraries getting loaded? i.e: Do the URLs work?
