Does the ERXStaticResourceRequestHandler work with those compressed jarred resources?

Hi,

I have a wo5.4 D2W app, with Wonder (linked up by maven) . The web page is displayed with missing graphic resources, and the console says things like:

Now it seems those jar files do have the resources it is seeking. 

Does the ERXStaticResourceRequestHandler work with those compressed jarred resources? Or what could cause the symptoms and console entries? I know some things had or have problems with those compressed, jarred, frameworks. This is Wolips 3.4.5950.

Probably something simple, I just have not found it yet...
