Another (related) dumb ERAttachmentFlexibleUpload question

  • Subject: Another (related) dumb ERAttachmentFlexibleUpload question

Greetings again,

I am continuing to work with the new ERAttachmentFlexibleUpload as a subcomponent of an AjaxModalDialog, based on the discussions last week and in the office.

I can clear the uploads on success (using the oddly named binding: "clearUploadProgressOnSuccess," and have my own mechanism for displaying the names of the uploaded files (without using the editor, just the uploader), and this appears to work  However, I also have an error condition for when the upload fails (e.g. the file is >15mb)

So now, when I try and upload a larger file, the app gives me an exception, and the AjaxModalDialog briefly switches to the select file button, then goes back to displaying "Upload Starting. . . "  Which does not appear to be clearable (presumably because I set it to clear on success).

Is there not a clear on fail?  Or on Finish (which seems to happen regardless of success or failure)?  Do I need to go back to having a clear button?

Thanks

Andrew
