Hi All,

I am trying to set up a new development environment.

My new mac has Snow Leopard instead of Leopard and so I have a few questions.

1) WebObjects is no longer bundled with the OS or XCode, where can I download the frameworks?

2) Should I be installing Eclipse/WOLips 3.4 or 3.5?

3) My current application runs under Java1.5, but SnowLeopard only has Java 1.6 (other versions point to 1.6), is this likely to cause problems?

No.

4) Am I able to deploy to a Leopard server? (and does question 3 effect this?)

You can configure the compilation step in your build.xml to target Java 5. This assumes you build from the command line to install. Or just build it on the leopard server.

5) Any SnowLeopard issues I should be aware of? I have noted the All-In-One installer is not currently available for Snow Leopard and so have done a manual install of eclipse and wolips.

Lots of us are using it, no problems to report. The only difference is that WO is not part of the default install.
