Title: Re: Weird plist framework question
Greetings all,
I agree with Farrukh, that would be a handy prototype. The other idea I had was to literally build a set of tables for a framework “SomeOnesDictionary” where the super-class could be linked to any other object. Both are good notions, and like I said seem so simple that it would be shock that it had not been thought of before.

There's a mutable dictionary attribute in ERPrototypes. Works with ERXMutableDictonary.
Interesting! Does that automatically handle the back-and-forth conversion?

Greetings Wizards,Dave, Chuck, ladies, and gentlemen,
Got a weird question for you. Does Wonder have a framework for having the notion a “plist” in the database itself. The idea being that one would have an attribute that would basically be a plist dictionary (in and of itself)? The idea seemed so simple, I find it hard to believe that it has not been conjured up before. I am thinking that it would have a migration method similar to ERAttachment allowing any other table to reference such a dictionary, like ERDictionary or something.
Any ideas?
