Session times out even though I am doing auto refresh?

I was wondering.

I am doing both a full page refresh every 3 minutes along with UpdateContainers every 15 seconds.
However, I am getting a handleSessionRestorationErrorInContext which then redirects.
Any thoughts on why that is getting called?
