Hi all,

Is it possible to disable a rule found in a framework such as

20 : task = 'queryAll' => displayNameForPageConfiguration = "Search All" [com.webobjects.directtoweb.Assignment]

with another rule?

In this case I don't want to override it in my app

21 : task = 'queryAll' => displayNameForPageConfiguration = "Search Everything" [com.webobjects.directtoweb.Assignment]

I want to disable it so that the name is picked up from Localizable.strings instead.

Erm, not that I know of.

And localization his handled in the default name assignment object so I'm not handling it in the Header display component.

I whipped up a patch (attached) if that works I can commit it.

The patch allows you to add a rule like:

100 : task = 'queryAll' => localizePageHeader = "true" [com.webobjects.directtoweb.BooleanAssignment]

And then add this to your localizable strings file:

"Search All" = "Foo Bar";

;david

Any reason ERDDelayedLocalizedAssignment won't work?

Ramsey
