Glad to see these pages are being improved. We have been covering
ORMs with our students this week and EOF is our reference model. But
it is a bit difficult to talk about EOF without giving the feeling
of out-of-date stuff. Having seen Pascal's post the other day, I
thought of these wiki pages, but when I looked at them, one thing
that is missing is navigating to the next page. You need a next link
at the bottom of the page to continue reading in order, and possibly
previous as well.
The contents in the left frame is also not in order (overview comes
half way down). Also given a heading "EOF", this does not need to be
repeated for each item "EOF-Modeling", and I think Modeling could be
given another subheading, with "Using".
After seeing the new navigation menu, I agree. The question I have
is... Can these be updated without breaking links to those pages in
the existing wiki articles? Is the wiki smart enough to handle that,
or will it require updating every page that points at those pages? Or
perhaps there is some trick to redirect from the old pages to the new?

I'm just looking at the WO Overview page and it has a section "State
of Play (Late 2007)" summarized from Mike Schrag's post. 2007 is
now ancient history - even to our 3rd years, they would have still
been at school then! (Well, OK, I do tell them about Bob Barton and
Burroughs 50 years ago, but those ideas are still good.)
These are just a few small points from a now admittedly external
critic, so I hope it helps. I'm glad to see the pages use Helvetica
now and not that horrible Verdana (or is it being converted for me
somewhere).
My original Apple WO books are still almost the best for giving an
overview, and I have most of the other books too, but these are now
hard to get. So I looked at what Apple has online now and they are
all boldly marked as "Legacy Document". It would be nice to see an
update there to give a current overview of what Apple provides,
rather than this death nell phrase.
Cheers
Ian

Hello everyone,
I did some good cleanup in the WO wiki space on
wiki.objectstyle.org to try to group pages together :

If you find any duplicate information, try to clean it up. For
example, we have *7* pages about deployment on FreeBSD, I don't
think we need all of them, but I can't say which ones are bad since
I never deployed on FreeBSD. So if you find any obsolete
information on any page, please tag the page with the "wikitodo"
page and add a comment on the page about what need to be done
(delete page, merge it, etc.).
