Does the web server know the ip addresses of the app servers host names?
We had a problem when the admin forgot to tell the web server that app1 is 100.100.100.100.

They do not belong there anyway.

You tell the web server to look for wotaskds like this:
WebObjectsConfig http://10.0.101.101:1085,http://10.0.101.102:1085,http://10.0.101.103:1085 10

And give it a password so that you can have a look what the web server sees:
WebObjectsAdminUsername myusername
WebObjectsAdminPassword mypassword

Then have a look:
http://yourwebserver/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WOAdaptorInfo?myusername+mypassword

Ignore it.
