I can help with RPMs. I guess this part is open sourced. We don't need any jars for java monitor right? We can always do a deployment session at WOWODC that target CentOS, Ubuntu/Debian and whatever, but I don't think we need 65 minutes for this.
I do plan to make a RPM for CentOS/RedHat that would instead the Apache module + Monitor + wotaskd. Side note. Anyone ever put a WOApp on a Sun Sparc 100 running FreeBSD?
