If the lists are actually full tables in the database then there is an entity setting in the Eomodel "Cache in Memory"

Hi all,
I've just started using ERXEnterpriseObjectCache to hang onto some small lists from the database. I've been throwing these lists in static (EO) class variables. I've baked a few functions into my entity base class templates for auto caching lists so I figured I should ask around about the best practices before I get too far along in this code.

Is this the best way to hang onto the lists or is there some other magic I'm unaware of?
