I am using 3.6.1 with a couple of project still on 3.4 (mostly due to upgrading not being a high priority)

You will find that we are pretty tolerant of any posts that are not abusive (of people, not the list). We try to run a friendly community. Many of us know each other in real life. So, please feel free to post any questions or "help wanted" etc messages. No one will yell. Apple does host the list but is tolerant of the help wanted kind of posts. I will also suggest that you also post them on the WO Community site for better visibility.
