Yes, I care about Java Client.  :-)   We are undertaking a replacement for some native (Delphi) apps in order to make them more cloud-like.  We're using Java Client instead of GWT or a web app primarily because the apps need to be able to run offline (and do so in a robust way, not like HTML5).

I have a pretty wicked setup:
1) Wonder on the server
2) Wonder on the client
3) A local database on the client (Firebird) that is synced with the server using EODistribution.
4) EOF+EODistribution only.  No EOApplication or EOInterface, etc.  It turns out that EODistribution is really all you need; you could write the app using any UI toolkit, or even use EODistribution to transfer data between two WO server apps.  It also works with Android... which is kind of ironic.
