Or ERXGenericRecord's init() method. init() is intended to be used in place of awakeFromInsertion() and fixes a problem where awakeFromInsertion() is called twice when cascade deletes fail to validate and roll backā¦
I read that somewhere. I don't know if it still applies in 5.4.3, but I use it anyway.
