No.  I think it's just because there's no one size fits all when it comes to user management.

ERCoreBusinessLogic handles user preferences in a mostly user agnostic way.  The only assumption it makes is that your user/actor has a single int PK.

I have an auth framework available on github, but even there I don't tie anything to a specific user class.  The user exists in the example project just to demonstrate usage of the auth framework.
