thanks all! A bit of actual sleep along with a few port number changes and some fussing and I'm all set! Woohoo!
thanks again -- On Oct 14, 2011, at 10:38 PM, Paul Yu wrote: Is this on a OS X or Linux?

launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.webobjects.womonitor.plist something like that.

I have a recent install where I guess I'd left WOMonoitor running and sometime it likely died.
the usual
http://host:45678
didn't work.
I'm able to just go ahead and run it and get in without webserver resources showing up and I can't reach via the :45678 port so I figure I should do more than just start the app up ./JavaWOMonitor.woa/JavaWOMonitor and no params
I know I should start and stop monitor after use, and now I've seem to have forgotten how to get it restarted properly --
any hint how best to get it back up without rebooting the server?
