I run the unit tests inside the built bundle, yes. I use WOPath to pick up all the frameworks from outside the bundle, though. It works just fine _except_ in this single case where TemporaryEditingContext is being initialised.
As it turns out, the problem was related to Henrique's fix for using WOUnit in Eclipse with bundleless builds. Henrique can expand on the problem and its solution, but the one line summary for this thread is that it looks like it's now fixed in WOUnit.
