That is correct.

Oversight on my part.

In my defence we never model an attachment directly there is always an intermediate parent object, i.e:

Person -> Avatar -> ERAttachment.

So deletion happens on the Avatar which cascades to the attachment.

OK, not much of a defence, but that's all I've got. ;-)
