It remains so mystifying to me how the Java community produces such absolute garbage as JPA and their other specs. How many versions of EJB have we been through? 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 2.x, 3.x....and how consistent are they (hint: not one bit).
I'll happily, boringly stick with EOF which seems to have been quite consistent since '94 (even in spite of the move to Java).
