Hello everyone,
Since it might be costly to come to Canada by plane for WOWODC, I'm sending a couple of tips to book your trip and saving money.
1) Fly with Porter (flyporter.com). It's not much cheaper than Air Canada but they have promotions from time to time that make it cheaper.
2) Stop at Burlington (Vermont, burlingtonintlairport.com) and take the bus (Greyhound have a bus station at the airport) to Montreal.
3) Stop at Plattsburgh (NY, flyplattsburgh.com) and take the train (Amtrak Adirondack) to Montreal.
4) Stop at New York City and take the train up to Montreal. The Amtrak Adirondack is a long ride (11 hours) but it's a really nice one (it follows the Hudson River and Lake Champlain), and they added WiFi to that route, so you will be able to work on the train.
Just a reminder: if you are a US citizen, you need your passport, even for train, car or bus.
Happy planning :-)
