Jasper Report subreport on deployment machine

everything was cooking along fine then the jasper subpreport.
It works fine on my development box, however I uploaded and installed it to my interim deployment box and the subreport throws an error.
Error: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Could not load object from location : /Users/asacksadmin/Documents/workspaceAS/ASBriefsD2W/Resources/MeetingChecklist_subreport1.jasper
Reason: Could not load object from location : /Users/asacksadmin/Documents/workspaceAS/ASBriefsD2W/Resources/MeetingChecklist_subreport1.jasper
is it something silly? I will try shortening the subreport name, but other than that, any ideas?
