AjaxObserveField question

  • Subject: AjaxObserveField question

Hello all:

I have an AjaxObserveField on a component to watch a WOCheckbox. My page contains a list of these components.

I also have an AjaxModalDialog that renders over this list. It has action buttons on it (AjaxUpdateLink) that I would like to have select a checkbox in the list. I have this working via a javascript call on the AjaxUpdateLink.

The problem I'm having is that I'd assumed the AjaxObserveField would fire it's action when my javascript checks the WOCheckbox but it doesn't. Is there a way for me to make the AjaxObserveField fire it's action?
