Subclassing AjaxComponent? What do you see if you put a breakpoint in invokeAction on AjaxComponent? Does shouldHandleRequest return false?

Hi all,

I've been struggling with this for a couple days figuring that I'll get it with just one more change, but alas, no dice.

I've got a component that I'm going to be using in several places that wraps the AjaxTree component. I'm passing in an EO and a key and it will create a form that will allow the user to edit the tree structure related to the passed-in EO via the passed-in key.

I have a AjaxObserveField wrapping the form fields that targets an AjaxUpdateContainer that wraps everything. When I select a value from one of the WOPopUpButtons the update container is updated, but the handleRequest method is not called.

If I put my custom logic in the invokeAction method, it is run, but if I put it in handleRequest, it isn't. I've tried putting a breakpoint on the handleRequest method itself and it is just never tripped.

What am I missing?

Dave
