Hi
I haven't followed the discussion on your problems with eclipse, but here's one idea : when everything works fine, copy all the metadata somewhere :
cp -R ~/MyWorkspace/.metadata /tmp/sav/.
Then, as soon as everything goes wrong, compare the metadatas : diff -r ~/MyWorkspace/.metadata /tmp/sav/.metadata
There may be a lot of garbage out of this diff, but maybe something will indicate what change is causing this mess.
You can also do the same for the .project files (inside each project of your workspace).
FYI, I've used eclipse 3.7 and WOLips 3.7.x since months without any problems.
Good luck,
Alex

Hi all,
My last weeks had been an intensive crash course on Wonder/WOLips development, more crashing than learning. I had already worked with WO 12 years ago without Wonder. Now, thanks to Wonder and the great work you all have being doing, it is so much better to work with WO that every new day makes me love WO even more. I am not aware of anything better then these frameworks we use.
But… Then comes Eclipse. Today I had several other problems with my applications. After asking for help and talking to different people in the list, I decided to, once more, create a new empty workspace and copy my projects into it. So, guess what? My applications began to work again with no problems whatsoever. But for how long?
Eclipse seems to be playing with me, or perhaps my environment is badly set up. The worse problems I had in the last two weeks I was able to track to a change in the configuration of WOLips, where I changed the setup to work with Apache instead of direct connect. When I moved back to the direct connect setup I was able to work again, with some problems and annoyances, but was working again after some days of lost work. This is a very clear sign that my system's configuration is bad.
Today, I again had problems that prevented me from working. My application wouldn't start and I couldn't find the reason. So I decided to, for the nth time, create a new workspace and copy my projects into it. It seems that Eclipse is corrupting my workspaces very often.
I've made a decision. I will buy a new HD and make a clean install of Mountain Lion. I hope that any "dirt" will be gone and I will finally be able to have the same productivity as you guys have.
Regards,
Angelo
