Ajax issue

  • Subject: Ajax issue

I have a wonder app that has been running beautifully for over a year. Even with its bad programming (bugs). I fixed an issue and installed the new app.

Except that on one client, if the URL does not contain the FQDN, the AJAX modal dialogs don't work. But on client two I can not use the full address.

I refer to the fact that in the office I am pushing the default domain In the dhcp. So I can ping server2, and in effect I am pinging server2.mydomain.com.

Client one is 10.7.5 with Firefox 20.0
Client two is 10.8.3 with Firefox 20.0

First, has anyone seen this?

Client one is 10.7.5 with Firefox 20.0 URL must not contain the domain. IE:
http://chelseagrid/cgi-bin/WebObjects/app.woa

Client two is 10.8.3 with Firefox 20.0 and MUST contain the domain. IE:
http://chelseagrid.domain.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/app.woa
