The framework doesn't care about the underlying storage medium. It uses an EOModel and what you connect that model to is up to you. You could use the wonder file system adaptor if you want to write to files. You could develop an EOAdaptor for any other datastore of your choosing. All my testing has been done with Postgresql and H2. H2 leaks memory. Don't bother trying to use H2 in production until that is fixed :-)
