Since I already did a overview of Nagios in 2009, and Nagios didn't
change much since then (in fact, it didn't change much in the last 10
years), I will only do a quick (< 15 minutes) overview. The power is
in the plugins.
Pascal,
Looking forward to that presentation.
As part of it would you do an overview of Nagios before getting to
the more advanced writing of plug-ins? I've been interested in
looking more into Nagios so you can help jump-start that.

BTW, we will make a decision about the date by knowing which dates
presenters can be there. So if you want to present, please reply to
me directly and tell me your preferences.
I already have the subject for my presentation: Using tools to
manage your applications servers. Including how to write plugins for
Nagios that can check your apps (I'm using Selenium in a Nagios
plugin that I wrote in Ruby).
It's official: WOWODC 2014 will be either on April 5/6/7 or April
12/13/14. So don't book anything at the same time! Either we will
return to the Hilton or we are going at the Hyatt, a decision about
that will be done before September.
Cost of the conference should be the same as WOWODC 2013, but the
sleeping rooms should cost $30 less per night (and most flights will
be cheaper too).
(and yes, we will organize a dinner at a sugar shack!)
