Ok, last email for this long day ;)
Fair. :-)
If you are talking of backwards-compatible in the sense of keeping the load order the same the answer is no.
Thanks for the answer. Am I the only one that thinks this might be problematic? (Or are you just talking about the load order of the "new" files?) Though that feature was introduced by Ken himself and not documented anywhere. I am looking at a lot of code in Wonder and I didn't notice that feature until the last pull request. So probably the only person using that feature is Ken and as it seems the load order was incorrect for what that feature was intended for. So I think in that case it is ok to fix it and not keeping it like it was. Of course better documentation on the wiki would make this (and the properties load order in common) more attractive for everyone.
I'm still not quite sure I'm following—what is the "feature" you're referring to? (Feel free to reply tomorrow in your time zone!) The bottom line is this: if I'm _not_ using any of these new Properties files, has the load order (of all the pre-existing Properties files) changed? That is, is it conceivable that anyone who isn't following along could possibly get a nasty surprise here? Ken, I really think this needs to be fully documented somewhere.
