I noticed that component had overridden my R2 date components recently too. Did someone up the priority on the rule for that thing or something? I only had to waste a few minutes fixing it, but it was annoying just the same. Collectively the time spent on these nasty surprises adds up.
Committers, please be more considerate when updating default rule priorities. Thank you.
