vertical inheritance question

  • Subject: vertical inheritance question
  • From: James Cicenia <email@hidden>

I have setup a typical rertical inheritance

ParentClass
ChildClass1
ChildClass2

If I fetch on all parent classes...say.. ParentClass.fetchAll

I actually get twice as many than I should and it magically converts the class to a type of ChildClass1 ?
I look at the database and I have one record of type ChildClass1.

Why does it bring back more?

Anyone see this before?
James
