stale user.d2w?

I'm just unwinding a trouble I had now but I wonder if it's familiar.

My app runs fine on my desk and has been deploying fine when I get a situation that was puzzling and only on the server.

My route pages were all fine, but I realized those using d2w were defaulting as if none of my rules were present.

Again this is only happening on the server - and I tried re-deployment a few times to check things.

I did one save the d2w file that day - basically commenting a rule out and putting it back, but otherwise no changes and no troubles on the desktop.

So, I moved back to the old file on the server and things run fine again -

I haven't yet overwritten my desktop file from GIT and deployed that again to double check that it's nothing in deployment and the file itself looks fine on the server…

Any thoughts on that kind of result?
