ERXMigration not working in ERXAjaxApplication

Hi there,
I have a strange problem.
I had an ERXApplication that used ERXMigration. Everything was fine, my H2 database schema was created on the fly.
Then I changed ERXApplication to ERXAjaxApplication and suddenly ERXMigration didn't work anymore.
I tried back and forth, but
ERXApplication -> ERXMigration ok
ERXAjaxApplication -> ERXMigration does not even start
Same EOModel, same Migration classes and same properties.
Can someone explain this? Is there a workaround? Thx,
