I tried the maven command from Michaek on my Mac with Xcode installed and only got this error after a bunch of downloads:

Building WOUnit with Maven requires a small setup in your environment (the same required to build regular WO projects with Maven). I've added more information on how to build WOUnit with Maven and Ant in the readme file [1].

I'm out of options here.

Is there a way to get the jar, build this library or even better use the source in eclipse like I do with Wonder?

The best way is downloading it from the WOUnit's website. You should only have to build manually from source if you want to change or debug the WOUnit code itself.
