Just to be exhaustive I find out where is "the problem":
I used quotes because "the problem" is application dependent, it
doesn't envolves WebObjects as I thought.
At every startup Web-CAT, while executing a method called init(),
connects to an "update center" to check out if updates are available.
If yes, it automatically download and install them.
[...] few words on init():
init() is defined into _net.sf.webcat.WCServletAdaptor_ that *extends*
_com.webobjects.jspservlet.WOServletAdaptor_
[...]
Initially, I verified this disconnecting from internet. After
understanding where "the problem" was, I decided to modify init()
method in the Application Boostrap project.
Now, I'm posting another thread to this mailing list, 'cause init()
throws unexpected UnavailableException.
Thank you for reading.
Cheers.
PS thread title is "javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Error
initializing servlet adaptor: null".
