The GUI of the app is in webobjects; there's components which utilize WO.
And WO is Pure Java, so what is the problem? You wan’t to move to Tapestry? JSP?
WOLips is just a _development time_ plugin for Eclipse. It is the IDE! You can develop WebObjects without it, but it is a lot more work. You can develop WebObject with emacs and Ant if you really want the pain. WOLips is NOT used for deployed apps.
