I used Ramsey’s solution. I got the listPages display group, I then did the following to export to excel

	public WOActionResults toExcel() {

		ListPageInterface lpi = (ListPageInterface) D2W.factory().pageForConfigurationNamed("ListExcelCategory", session());

		EOArrayDataSource ds = new EOArrayDataSource(null, session().defaultEditingContext());

		ds.setArray(((ERD2WListPage)ERD2WUtilities.parentListPage(this)).displayGroup().allObjects());

		lpi.setDataSource(ds);

		return (WOActionResults)lpi;	

}

seems to work great.
