Unfortunately I got side tracked this weekend, so I did not get a chance to clean up the code.
However, I have not seen the issue you are describing in EOModeler. There are times when the properties panel does not populate, but you just have to click on something else and then click back. So it is just an annoyance and not a problem.

There was some wonkiness in the EOModeler tool too. I vaguely remember you'd go to edit a field (like class name) and it would clear all the contents...so it was sort of impossible to work with. Did that ever get resolved?
