Hi Alex,

I always start my applications manually before installing and deploying them. I use

su appserver
/path/to/my/app/MyApp.woa/MayApp -parameters

Launching my application this way I do not have any problem. But after a server restart WOMonitor will not launch any application anymore. I can not see any changes in the server state after the restart that could cause this issue. Also, the firewall (IPTables) is conveniently configured and other server configurations seem to be OK.

I'm stuck and had to return a previous Ubuntu image with a working deployment environment.

Thanx,

Angelo

Hi,

sounds like a permission issue, the launch script must be executed with the wo user.
you can simulate the launching via JavaMonitor with : sudo -u appserver /path/to/MyApp.woa/MyApp

The problem is that when starting the application instances with WOMonitor each instance will die and I can't find in the logs the reason. As a matter of fact, the application startup process isn't logged at all.
