Version/build numbers?

Has anyone developed best practices around assigning/storing version of WOnder apps?  Is there maybe something built into WOnder?

I figure there must be something out there, just haven’t come across it.  I could always just put my own number in Properties, but I wanted to see if anyone out there had anything brilliant.  I use GIT for version control in case there’s something out their in that vein too (using Git Flow).
