Paul,

I had this exact problem. What did you do with JRebel? did you remove it from the WOLips build? I had a conversation with the JRebel people and they wrote:

Hi Theodore,

I'm Curtis, one of the engineers here at ZeroTurnaround. How are you today?

It appears that the webobjects plugin is not working properly. This is a bug that we had in 5.6.3. You can download the nightly version with fix to your Eclipse plugin from http://update.zeroturnaround.com/update-site-nightly/

Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Regards,
Curtis

I like JRebel and have a license.

I don’t know this is your problem, but I had the same error before the update.

and finally from zero turnaround:

Hi Theodore!

In any case, the next JRebel "stable" should be released not too far in the future, which should hold all the bugfixes present in the current nightlies.

So as long as all works, just stick with your current setup and keep a watching eye on our site for new versions.

Hope everything will keep on working out fine for you!
Bram

I had to reinstall Luna and build WOLips again…

Maybe there is a better way  but it worked for me...

Thanks Gino.  It turned out that starting a new workspace from scratch and importing everything again was sufficient for me.  Perhaps there was an issue with my converted 3.7 workspace.

It's back.  Same symptoms, now from a pristine new workspace.  I can create new components and they will open in the component editor.  Existing components won't open: I get a new tab, with no title, and no content and clicking close on it brings up an error dialog referring to a NullPointerException.

This is obviously something of a show-stopper.  Anyone else seeing this?
