Flavio,
I actually changed the script to add git to the server (sudo yum -y install git) and cloned the newest wonder source. it was (for me) easier to use ant to create the mod_webobjects.so.
that said. my second pass, I simply uploaded my compiled JavaMonitor, wotaskd, mod_webobjects to my AWS S3 instance and used the script to create the deployment structure and copy them into the correct folders. then I fixed the .conf for apache, uploaded the webobjects startup script making sure I was pointing to the correct directories.
I followed what was there! It worked fine.
