The shell script wotaskd.woa/Contents/Resources/SpawnOfWotaskd.sh is actually
responsible for starting the app.
The old WebObjects version would redirect the start output to /dev/null, while
newer Wonder versions may redirect it to
/Library/WebObjects/Logs/SpawnOfWotaskd.log if a /tmp/logWebObjects file
exists. So you may have to modify the actual log file location and then enable
logging.

I am just not able to bring a WO HelloWorld app up using Java Monitor.

Followed the instructions*[1] on WOCommunity server to deploy to Amazon Linux.
I have a separate webserver and an app server.  On the App server I am running
wotaskd and JavaMonitor.

Started with a simple HelloWorld WO App.  JavaMonitor comes up fine.  After
adding the app, the app startup fails in JavaMonitor. Nothing is written to the
log ( /opt/Local/Library/WebObjects/Logs) either.

Permissions look ok.

The SiteConfig.xml is being updated from JavaMonitor.  What needs to be done to
see entries in the log to help troubleshoot this issue.  In the Apache 2.4
config file (webobjects.conf), what should the log entry look like?
