Starting with Maven

  • Subject: Starting with Maven

I am biting the bullet and starting with Maven. I am on Sierra, with Eclipse Neon.3 and the current Wonder source installed.

I am following the minimalistic tutorial on the Build and Deployment podcast from April 2014 WOWODC. There is a second section with Henrique Prange on converting projects to Maven.

I created the settings.xml and added the text from:
https://wiki.wocommunity.org/display/WOL/Quick+Start+Maven+Settings+Configuration+Guide

Before I get into my individual problems, is there another document I could read that would help me? Or another tutorial?

BTW, a new wonder application (hello world) seems to work beautifully. I start getting into problems when I try a D2W app with a framework.

Help please.

Ted
