Dear Markus,
Thank you for your your EOModelGraph.
I have a small problem : The selected entities are drawn but I dont see any
relationhip lines or cardinalities. Does that means my data are corrupted and
I missed something ?
Thansk in advance
Pierre
NB :I use eclipse V2019-03 on windows7

Objet : Re: EOModel Graph Update Site
"You don't have permission to access /WOLips-EOModelGraph/ on this server"
Well, sort of, but...
The given URL can only be used in Eclipse to install new software. Sorry,
directory listings are turned off.
The update site is the full current WOLips inluding EOModelGraph. EOModelGraph
is an editor and is part of Entity Modeler inside WOLips.
To play with it I suggest you download a fresh copy of Eclipse and install
WOLips not from the official community link but from my URL. For those who do
not like to install from an unknown source I have created a zip'ed version of
the site. Simply download, unzip, check its internals and you have a local file
based update site.

There is not documentation yet nor are there any screenshots. Over the course
of the following weeks we'll fix things and clean stuff and will prepare a pull
request for WOLips. Doumentation is high on my list but currently you have to
do without.
EOModelGraph is one way to give something back to the community. It's a spare
time project which I used to keep my intern Savas busy and give him the chance
to learn something new (Eclipse plugin development) and at the same time have
fun and create something usable. We will probably not be able to work on it
regularly but when you find bugs and have ideas for improvement please let us
know.
Currently you can create class diagrams in UML notation and ER Diagrams in crow
foot notation. The diagrams are per model, no cross-model relationships are
available. The class diagrams are based on entities where many to many is
allowd and inheritance is fully shown. The ERDs model the database and thus
include many to many join tables and also show the correct tables for
inheritance, be it vertical mapping (1 table for the super class and one for
each subclass), horizontal mapping (one table per full combination of
superclass and subclass) or single table mapping where everything is mapped
into one table. You can have any number of diagrams, name them, layout them
differently and have all or any subset of entites / tables included.
If you add a new entity to your model you need to simply add this entity or
table to any of your diagrams. The existing layout will be preserved, you just
need to place the new entity / table wherever you want it. It is possbile to
zoom in and out but there is currently no way to export a diagram other than
taking a screenshot (exporting as vector graphic thou is hight on our list).
The positions of entities and tables are put into the index file inside the
model package and can be edited with any text editor. The relationhip lines and
cardinalities come directly from the existing data. There is actually very
little additional data inside the index file. Tread carefully thou as
EOModelGraph my react weird to corrupt entries.
Hope this helps you get started

EOModelGraph will eventually make it into WOLips (may take a bit of time).
Until then we have created a temporary update site so you can start playing
with it.

EOModelGraph is currently one-way only. You can use it to create ERD and
ClassDiagram representations of your EOModels but you cannot (yet?) edit your
models graphically. There is currently no way to export the graphics other than
taking a screenshot.
Have fun and let us know when you find issues or have suggestions
I would like to try this out. When I hit that update site, though, I seem to
get the option to install WOLips—is that what this is, a fork of WOLips? Is
there any prospect for shipping a standalone Eclipse plug-in, or is it too
tightly integrated?
Meanwhile, got any screenshots or anything? I'd love to see it.
